"The Decapitation of Peter Mueller" - An alcoholic writer struggles to come to terms with the loss of his wife and young daughter, while dealing with the internal politics of his family. His very traditional family is also convinced that his romantic life is a lot darker / risky than what he portrays it to be. On route to what could be his mother's last birthday celebration (cancer) he picks up an hitch hiker. The spell of drug and alcohol binges that follow leads to Peter's "surprising" death.
